Bude is one of North Cornwall’s best-loved seaside bases, but the beaches around it are just as impressive as the town itself. From big family-friendly sands to quieter coves and local hidden gems, there’s plenty to explore beyond the obvious. Sandymouth Bay is our personal favourite at Broxwater – a huge stretch of sandy beach, rock pools, dog-friendly year round, varying difficulty coastal walks in either direction and a lovely cafe at the bottom of car park! Pop it into the satnav and you’ll be there in around 10 minutes.
